With a variety of the latest in packaging equipment from around the world plus experts from Italy, Spain, the UK and US on hand to answer questions, Australasian packaging equipment supplier Emrich had plenty to offer visitors at the packaging tradeshow event, AUSPACK PLUS held in Sydney this month.

As a leading supplier of packaging equipment in Australasia, Emrich Packaging Machinery Pty Ltd was pleased to showcase its range at AUSPACK PLUS, held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from 7 to 10 May.

“We really enjoyed the opportunity to meet face to face with prospective customers and demonstrate how our packaging machinery works,” said Steve Richardson, Emrich’s Managing Director. “And it was an added bonus to have representatives from our machinery suppliers in Europe and the US available to meet with our customers too.”

Emrich’s stand featured experts from specialist packaging suppliers PFM Group from Italy, Aranow from Spain, TREPKO from the UK and ADCO from the US.

“Many of the trends in packaging begin in Europe and America so visitors to our stand were interested to speak with our representatives from overseas to hear about what’s on the horizon,” said Mr Richardson. “We also ran demonstrations so visitors could see firsthand, the quality and efficiency our packaging machinery offers.”

Emrich’s packaging equipment is suitable for a wide range of food and general products. Machinery on show at AUSPACK PLUS included a PFM Hurricane flow wrapper, PFM ZC1 combination vertical form fill seal bagger and weigher, Trepko rotary filler and cup sealer, ADCO horizontal end load cartoner and HSC350 check weigher.

“Being part of AUSPACK PLUS gave prospective customers the chance to meet with Emrich’s staff and see the calibre of what we offer,” said Mr Richardson. “I believe our product range, technical expertise and customer service are the best in the business.”

The event coincided with the launch of Emrich’s recent rebranding.

“This year we changed our name from Emrich Industries to Emrich Packaging Machinery to better describe what we do,” said Mr Richardson. “We also refreshed our branding and website and launched them in time for AUSPACK PLUS.”

Mr Richardson said it has been valuable to be able to promote Emrich at AUSPACK PLUS. “It’s a major event in the packaging industry,” he said. “We were delighted to get to know more about our prospects, many of whom have now become customers.”
