Series C1 is the name of the brand new range of entry-level multi-head weighers presented by MBP (PFM Group). The result of two years of research and design, the C1 embodies all the experience MBP has gained in top class weighers toned down into a product which is economical yet has high quality standards.
"It has been defined unanimously as a real gem," says Andrea Fioravanti, Chief Executive Officer of MBP, "by customers who admired it during the preview in the Castiglione delle Siviere factory". He goes on to say "the Series C1 has been specially designed for producers on a limited budget who may be tempted to buy weighers which are economical or of dubious quality both in terms of construction or features, and feel they have to avoid the better known brands." MBP, who traditionally has focussed on the design and manufacture of technologically advanced systems, has invested in research to develop a product with a limited selling price which features the technological solutions of higher class weighers.
There are obviously technical differences with respect to the Series C2 and C3 (painted base support instead of STAINLESS STEEL, IP61 protection rating instead of IP66), but the fact that the same hardware and software have been used tells us a great deal about the weighing accuracy and reliability of this series."

The 10-head C1, for example, with 100 g of product guarantees an accuracy of between 0.2 and 1.2 g inclusive up to 80 weighings a minute. The 14-head C1 guarantees the same accuracy up to 120 weighings a minute.
The Series C1 incorporates a state-of-the-art operating system. It features a multi-touch Windows user interface which enables any page to be reached in a maximum of 2 steps. The truly amazing aspect is the simplicity of its programming. Thanks to the AVC, ADC, EVA functions the operator simply programmes the final weight, top and bottom limits and speed (wpm). Adjustments are made automatically in real time.
The Home Page gives all the information required to monitor the operating status of the weigher in just a single glance.
In addition, the controller can be wireless connected using remote control devices which are useful both for downloading and uploading recipes and production data as well as monitoring operations.
