NEW ARATWIN STICKPACK MACHINE
Spanish packaging company Aranow, have launched ARATWIN; a completely new vertical multilane machine to pack TwinPack stickpacks.
A TwinPack consists of two single serve portion sticks joined together, allowing two different products in the same pack to be totally separated from each other. Suitable products include: liquids, granules and powders.
A typical 4-lane AraTwin machine is capable of output speeds of up to 200 sticks per minute.
The twin stickpack concept is especially useful for complimentary products, value adding, bundling offers, sampling and promotions.

ARATWIN SPECIFICATIONS
CONCEPT
Multilane Packaging machine with intermittent motion to form, fill and seal TwinPack sachets from a reel of heat sealable material.
FRAME
Monoblock high resistance carbon steel frame.
Powder coated and baked at 140ēC temperature for high resistance and protection in unfavourable atmospheres.
Special design for easy cleaning and easy access
Electrical installation totally separated from the mechanical and pneumatical parts, avoiding heat transfer.
Touch screen integrated in the frame body.
MAIN MOTION
Main motion by means of a motor-reducer with variable speed adjustment from the touch screen.
All mechanical operations are situated in the interior of the frame, totally insulated and protected.
Film driven via the horizontal sealing jaws, directly controlled by the motor-reducer from the main drive.
Centralised lubrication with only one point of distribution.
UNWINDER
Automatic unwinding system.
Unwinder totally covered by Macrolon safety guards.
Pneumatically operated expandable reel holder shaft, to speed up the film reel replacement.
End of reel detector with automatic machine stop.
Reel holder adjustment, via motorised automatic centring system from the touch screen.
REEL CUTTING
Pressurised independent cutting system.
Titanium disc cutters.
DOSING SYSTEM
Stainless Steel funnels with forming tube.
All parts in contact with the product in Stainless Steel AISI 316.
FORMING
An independent lane system forms each TwinPack lane to double tube form.
Dosing-forming tube, especially manufactured to provide a perfect form and seal of the TwinPack to avoid possible seal defects.
VERTICAL JAWS
Number of sealing bars depending of the total machine lanes.
Automatic opening of the sealing jaws in case of machine stop, to avoid overheating the film.
Tip-up vertical jaws in 180ē, and handle for easy cleaning without burn risk (no tools required).
Heat protection plate in the vertical sealing group.
ROTATIVE SEALING JAWS FOR THE TWINPACK FORMAT
Vertical Sealing jaws: rotative rollers to divide the two different products.
HORIZONTAL JAWS
Horizontal sealing jaws composed of two symmetric sealing jaws for perfect StickPack sealing.
Independent temperature control in relation to the vertical sealing.
STRAIGHT HORIZONTAL CUTTING
Independent and mechanical straight knife, operated by a brake- clutch motor.
Installed on an independent station, situated after the horizontal jaws.
Symmetric and reversible cutting knives.

Machine control panel with colour touch screen display and test system to control all machine functions.

Sachet length adjustment electronically controlled from the touch screen.
